A new edition of the ROS-Industrial Academy has taken place at Tecnalia facilities in San Sebastian (Spain). The course has run from March 7th to March 9th. During these three days, the 19 participants in the course, coming from 11 different companies have had the opportunity to learn the basics of the ROS-Industrial system.
The next edition of the ROS-I Academy will take place at Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart, Germany from April 16 to 20, 2018. The training consists of theoretical and practical blocks – lectures and course material are in English. The exercises are performed both in simulation and with a real robot. The training is supported by ROSIN.
The ROS-Industrial Consortium Americas will host its annual meeting next week at Southwest Research Institute, with a day, the 7th, of open to the public demonstrations and talks, followed by a members only event, on the 8th, that will include ROS-I developments, updates from relevant organizations and development hubs, and roadmapping/project topic workshops.
