This project sets up a ROS training center at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. The northern and eastern regions of the Netherlands are known for the manufacturing and machine building industry. The goal of this project is to increase ROS awareness and knowledge in these regions by providing training oppertunities. In the project, a training center will be set up to train professionals and students. Once the project is finished, the center continues providing trainings. The training focusses on two application areas: vision-based manipulation & autonomous navigation. In this project, 2 setups will be prepared for instructional purposes. The complete documentation of the setups, including the training materials will be open and made available for others to use. After this project, more application areas might be added based on demands from the participants.
