ROSinTartu EP established ROS training center at the University of Tartu in Estonia (https://sisu.ut.ee/ros) and developed ROS learning materials to be used by Estonian teachers in a classroom setting (Training materials such as lecture slides and hands-on lab tutorials: https://sisu.ut.ee/ros/koolitus). Additionally, ROS functionality of the open-source mobile robot ROBOTONT was significantly enhanced to include support for Google Cartographer, ARtags, RTAB-map, and Gazebo (https://github.com/ut-ims-robotics/robotont). A 3-day pilot training to more than 20 Estonian secondary school teachers was successfully carried out in June 2019.
