We are pleased to announce a new ROS MOOC "Hello (Real) World with ROS" that is going online from 5th September 2018 on the "edX" online learning platform.
The target audience for the course are beginner level ROS1 users. The course will be instructor paced and of 6 weeks duration. A study/work load of about 8-12 hours per week is expected. This course is a part of the educational activities of ROSIN and TU Delft Online Learning School!

The full-week ROS-Industrial Academy has taken place for the second time at Fraunhofer IPA to boost participants from industry.
Because of high interest another ROS-I Academy will be hold in the week from July 2 to 6, 2018. Please sign up as soon as possible to secure a place.

The registration for the 7th ROS Summer School at FH Aachen, University of Applied Sciences in Germany is opened. The event will take place from 20th August till 31st August 2018. Everyone who is interested in learning ROS is invited to register now!

A new edition of the ROS-Industrial Academy has taken place at Tecnalia facilities in San Sebastian (Spain). The course has run from March 7th to March 9th. During these three days, the 19 participants in the course, coming from 11 different companies have had the opportunity to learn the basics of the ROS-Industrial system.

The partner university MCI in Innsbruck, Austria of FHA was interested in giving the first edition of the ROS Winter School located at their university. It was held in February 2018 for 1 week. The 20 participants learned the introduction to ROS on the example of how to program an autonomous driving car like robot. At the end of the week all groups were able to send their robots through a round track and hold at “stop signs” represented by AR Tags.
