The next edition of the ROS-Industrial Academy has taken place at Fraunhofer IPA from January 22 to 26, 2018. In a full week program, the target is to boost participants with little or no ROS knowledge to a level with broad comprehension of the robotic framework.

The theoretical content is consolidated with workshops and is applied on mobile- and industrial robots for the focused areas. Moreover, the last day covers advanced topics which are also rewarding for experienced ROS developer.

The Academy consists of:

• day 3: Focus on Manipulation
• day 4: Focus on Navigation
• day 5: Advanced ROS-Topics
